The swimming Club of the Institute for Interdisciplinary Information was established in the spring of 2021 and now has over 50 members. We hope to provide a swimming atmosphere for students and staff who love swimming, where they can learn from each other, compete and make progress together. At the same time, it provides opportunities for students who wish to learn swimming or improve their movements. The club is also responsible for forming the departmental swimming team to participate in the Ma John Cup swimming competition. In the spring of 2021, our department achieved the sixth place in the team event of Group B in the Horse Cup swimming competition. We hope to provide everyone with opportunities to learn and improve their swimming skills through recruitment, training and competitions, and bring passion and joy to the students.

Club activities

On a daily basis, organize one or two swimming activities every week, mainly for students who need to learn and improve their swimming movements. Such activities are provided with tickets and beverages by the club, and the backbone leads everyone to practice in the shallow water area. Before the Marathon Cup, organize swimming team training at a relatively high frequency. By hiring the Marathon Cup coaching staff and training and competing with swimming teams from other departments, achieve a higher level. The club also plans to jointly hold a water sports meeting with other departments, providing students with the opportunity to compete in the semester when there is no horse Cup.
