China Theory Week 2011 (CTW 2011) opens at Aarhus University, Denmark on October 10. IIIS Deputy Dean Prof. Amy Wang and Prof. Peter Miltersen, Co-director of Tsinghua-Aarhus Center for the Theory of Interactive Computation addressed at the opening.
It is the first time that CTW is hosted outside of China since its foundation in 2007. More than 30 researchers and students in the field of theoretical computer science attend the one-week academic workshop. Among the participants, there are 5 renowned theoretical computer scientists and 25 talented graduate students from such eminent universities as Tsinghua University, Aarhus University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, UC Berkeley, CMU and the University of Toronto. They will present cutting-edge problems and their latest research results in theoretical computer science during the workshop.
